I call it my “baby” for it has been with me for over two years now. 
My Asus Eee PC was my very first netbook or subnotebook that I fell in love with. It is slick and small that I can carry it on my bag almost everyday. It is very lightweight (.092kg) and its board/display only measures 7 inches. It also has 8G SSD storage that is perfect for my everyday notes and has built-in camera and microphone and high definition audio speakers. Perfect for a “chat-addict” and “musicaholic” like me.
But sad to say it “died” on me last night while surfing the net on my favorite coffee shop. 
Since I always have its AC adapter/charger, I had it recharged on the shop that I am in but, it powered down even it was connected to the power cord. I tried a couple of things to had it restored but it seems that I need a new battery for my baby.
I have a desktop at home but I rarely use it for I am more of a laptop kind of person. Currently, I am working with my HP 14.5″ laptop that I bought last December. I guess starting today I should learn ways to prolong the battery life of my laptop. My brother always tells me not to plug or recharge it 24/7 for it can lower its battery life. I was a bit hardheaded about it and always left my PC “on” for two straight days or more. I’ll never gonna do that anymore since a laptop battery is a bit pricey now a days.

I am a huge fan of Andrew Garcia even before he joined American Idol Season 9. I saw him on youtube a number of times playing acoustic, pop and rnb songs. He usually play music with his fellow youtube artist such as AJ Rafael, Lydia Paek, and Cathy Nguyen. He is from Moreno Valley, California and has a beautiful son with his Filipina girlfriend. I was happy to learn that a fellow Filipina fall for this cool and talented guy.
Most of the song he sang during the audition and idol week are the songs he usually record for YT. My most favorite song he sang both in youtube and idol are “Sunday Morning” of Maroon 5 and “Chasing Pavements” by Adelle. But the song that remarkably show cased his talent is his version of “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul.
Now that he is part of American Idol Top 9 I hope he will continue to shine and bring more soul into the music. I wish him to be on that most awaited Final’s Night. Honestly, he was one of the few who showed superb singing talent from the start but like the judges are saying he seems to lose some stars with his previous performances. But with his recent rendition of “Forever” by Chris Brown where Usher became the idol mentor, I think he is now back in his game and ready to show more of his talent.
I am pretty excited for the next theme of American Idol Top 9. It will be the greatest hits from the Beatles. I wonder who willbe the idol mentor for next week. Hope to see great performances from the remaining idol contestant.

I must admit that I go crazy for “fab” makeup products and I tend to hover on beauty stores to check out my favorite cosmetic brands. Then lately, I was a bit surprised with the amount of items I have on my beauty bag/pouch, I got tons of product line from lipstick to foundation from blusher to mascara ~ name it, I’ve got it all. Not just on my pouch but also in my room cabinet, shower and other places where I store stuff.
Then I realized how important beauty really is or is it just a fad thing that mostly women got enticed to?
I always believe that we should always represent ourselves in the best way we can. And having a nice blusher and a pink lipstick is not a crime at all.
But I make sure to clean my face after a big night out or after that busy day of having some makeup on. Don’t want some greasy oil and stubborn dirt on my pores.
Taking care of our skin is a priority in having a pretty face. More than a great makeup brand, a good facial cleanser is a must in having a clear and fabulous face.

Many blog owners are dying to get some traffic on their site especially those who are just starting out. Learning SEO, getting your own domain and paying some web hosting are key factors for your site to be indexed with top search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing. But if you are a normal blogger that doesn’t have the tools that I’ve mentioned, you go for alternative way to get some traffic while you are still on the process of getting ahead of your PR or Alexa.

I love my “chucks”.
My most favorite sneaker in the whole wide world would probably Chuck Taylor All-Star from Converse. I love sneakers and I love wearing comfortable and fashionable shoes all at the same time. I have my classic red chucks for almost six years now and that piece of thing is still wearable up to this date.
Chuck Taylor is iconic in itself. It has been evolving for years, its style transform in different levels of fashion and has been setting trends throughout the year. I have spent both my high school and college days wearing “chucks” and I make sure to check-out the new collection of converse for this particular design every now and then.
But no wonder, my classic red chuck taylor remains undefeated amongst new modern shoe designs. A classic will always be a classic.
Certainly, sneakers aren’t just for jeans no more. I, personally love pairing it with a nice skirt and a cute top. So I planned a new get-up for my Friday affair with my sister and nieces. It’s going to be a Rockin’ Friday.
I mixed match some clothes and come-up with this style. I love this particular collage, I think it is cool and trendy since it is summer time. I come up with a nice UJ shades matching it with Union Jack Charlie Bag is just fabulous.

We all have different style when in comes to fashion. Cool clothes and shoes are two major things that I totally adore. Mix-matching of clothes, choosing the right stuff to wear and spicing-up a regular clothes are the things I enjoyed the most. I am extremely particular in choosing the right clothes to wear. It should always be embedded with my personality and characteristic. My style is my own thing. I always wanted to put some personality and originality on my clothes.
As a child I love to sketch clothes, doing some rough-drafts of the things I wanted to wear but I never realized that I can do it online.
Yes, there are sites that allows you to be creative in making your own designs. I particularly love these two sites that I’ve learned months ago and up to now I’m sort of addicted in making some fashion collages and shoe designs.
Shoes of Prey is one of the popular online store for shoes right now. This site allows you to create a specific design of your choice with their one-of-a-kind online technology. They have beautiful patterns available and wide selection of colors, materials and textures for your kind of shoes. I happen to love making different designs from flats to high heels, from extremely outrageous style to a more simpler one. Their shoes cost between $180 to $280 plus shipping.
There is another site that is becoming my favorite and it is called Polyvore.
Polyvore is the only site where I can create beautiful fashion collage easily. It has popularity among artists, trend-setters and designers. With its easy-to-use virtual styling tool you can definitely do almost anything in creating a high-fashion photo for clothes, shoes and accessories. The site offers a lot of things, it has a community where you can share your ideas and creations with other members and an online store where you can shop your most desired clothes.
I love these site because most of the brands are in here and you can easily drag and drop the clothes on your board and start designing.
With these two great sites my style improved more and I got to see different variations when it comes to creating your own look .

One of the best artist we have right now that I truly look-up to is Melanie Fiona. After hearing her sing live on youtube, I can’t help but to idolize her more. She is a singer-songwriter from Canada and grew up in the city of Toronto. I wonder why most of my favorite RNB artist and youtube artist came from Canada, one of which is Tamia whose been delivering good soulful music and whose performance is definitely remarkable. Tiffany Eugenio aka Tiffyiffyiffy is another youtube sensation from Canada and has been receiving thousands of hits on her youtube channel.
Melanie Fiona was nominated for Best Female R&B Performance in the Grammy’s for her single It Kills Me, which is one of my favorite song this year. Although Beyonce snugged the award for this category still, it won’t be the last nomination for her for sure and hopefully she will gain more popularity and soon earn more credits with her amazing voice. I just love her songs for it caters unique sound from reggae, hiphop, rnb and soul. Aside from It Kills Me my other favorite song from her debut album are Sad Song, Give It To Me Right and Monday Morning.
Currently, she is on tour with RNB diva Alicia Keys. Her album The Bridge is now out on stores and also available on itunes.

I’m totally obsessed about Glee. Can’t help to see its new season coming out this 13th of April 2010. I’ve been a fan of the show from day 1 and I can’t compare it with any other shows I have seen in the past. I do love musicals but not the boring kind of it that tends to put me into sleep. I love Glee. It is very unique in so many ways. It made glee clubs more interesting and fun all at the same time.
My most favorite cast I guess are Rachel and Mercedes. Both of them are equally talented and beautiful especially Mercedes, her voice is very captivating. Her rendition of “Bust Your Windows” which originally sang by Jasmine Sullivan was just perfect. It really suits her voice and I just love the attitude she had on that particular scene. Rachel on the other hand has superb talent both in acting and singing. Shes been in different theater plays for a long time and you can actually see how confident she is on every role that she plays. Gotta love her! ♥
April is approaching and I’m so ready to watch its pilot episode which will be airing on Fox this April 13 after American Idol.

Finally, I am able to start a new “hub” where I can share things that I adore, love and enjoy in life. From fashion to techi-gadgets, from music to movies, from cool news updates to online earning opportunities and more ~ anything that has “fun and “excitement” flavor to it ,is what I enjoy most.
I have three subdomains on other popular blogging sites but, to have my own domain for the very first time is like a breath of fresh air. At long last I can do anything I wanted. Not that anything weird and alike but things that you can actually call your own with your own “tag” or trademark to it. A place where I can say I truly belong to and totally mine.
Funny thing, it goes with our own preference with regards to living. Perhaps our choice of our own pad or place differs from one another. Some would actually prefer to live in a small place where all the stuff are readily available while others choose to live in a big fancy mansion on large estates.
I want my hub to be equipped with lots of goodies and stuff that any person would want. A place where I can get most anything I wanted, right there and then but it must be simple and very humble as it should be.
MySmartHub will be my internet home.
All I wanted will be in one place and it is going to be here in my smarthub.
