There are few option on how to register your suncellular broadband modem to unlimited surfing.  You can either get an express load or pick any iload you want which works both on your mobile phone or broadband stick.

For iloads, just key in the following code to avail your preferred internet service;

  • Costs: P25 (3hrs valid for 1 day) Text i25 and send to 247
  • Costs: P50 (1 day unlimited valid for 1 day) Text i50  and send to 247
  • Costs: P100 (3 days unlimited) Text i100  and send to 247
  • Costs: P250 (7 days unlimited) Text i250  and send to 247
  • Costs: P999 (30 days unlimited) Text i999  and send to 247

Similar with other internet broadband prepaid service, Sun Broadband also offers 1 day unlimited internet which costs Php 50/day.

Currently being sold in the Philippine market today at around Php 4,500+ (or even lower) this mobile product seemed to be one of the cheapest touch screen handset produced by Samsung Mobile to date.

With the release of its predecessor last year, Samsung Corby S3653 (WiFi) price dropped from Php 9,950.00 (in 2010) to Php 4,500+ (2012).

I actually own one and have been using it for quite sometime, along with my other mobile unit and I can definitely say that it is a great phone considering its price and cool features.

Samsung Corby S3653 has a 2.8″ QVGA TFT screen which is relatively smaller than the popular android phone, Samsung Galaxy Y which sports a 3 inch screen. But, what I like about the S3653 is its TouchWiz interface and Pop-up SNS feature (social network service) wherein you’ll get online notification from your favorite social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter from your homepage screen. It also has a 2 megapixel camera that allows you to instantly upload photos to your favorite social sites and has a smile shot and panorama option as well.

Globe Telecommunication have recently made some updates on their mobile broadband unlisurf rates for their prepaid subscribers with details as follows;

  • SUPERSURF 50 1 day -unlisurf* cost: P50 Text SUPERSURF50 to  8888
  • SUPERSURF 120 3 days -unlisurf* cost: P120  Text SUPERSURF120 to 8888
  • SUPERSURF 200 5 days -unlisurf* cost: P200 Text SUPERSURF200 to 8888

The only changes they have made from their previous rate is, they have included 3 days of unlimited surfing for only Php 120 and they lowered the price of 5-days supersurf to Php 200 from its previous cost of Php 220.

For PostPaid subscribers, 1-day of unlimited surfing can be done by texting SUPERSURF ON 50 to 8888.

The only down side of using unlimited surfing with Globe Tattoo and with other broadband service aligned with Globe Tel. is its Policy on Fair Usage. I’ve had a quite number of frustrations with Globe Tattoo’s prepaid kit service that made me decided to use another broadband service. To be honest, there were times that I am able to use it fully without any problem in registration (supersurf) but still, 800 MB cap is not enough for internet addict like me. :)

According to Globe;

The Tattoo Prepaid Stick is designed to provide quick and convenient surfing access while on the go (mobile use).  The product is intended for normal use of email, website browsing, and base search activities.  For this purpose, 800 MB is a significant amount of data enabling you to:

Nokia Asha 303 vs. Samsung Galaxy Y (Young)

Since both phones are being sold at an affordable prices, (considering these are multi-functional phone) Samsung Galaxy Y (young) scores the cheapest android phone in the market today. Its SRP in the Philippines is at around PHP 5,900+, you might consider checking its features and specs as well. Although, it is cheaper than Nokia Asha 303, the latter has a 3.2 megapixel camera while Galaxy Y only sports a 2MP camera.
