Food Trip: My Favorite Ensaymada

For today’s  food trip, I will take you on one of my favorite place to hangout and have some of my favorite food in the planet.  Fiesta Market! is located at Fort Bonifacio, Global City, Taguig, Metro Manila.  I just love going to this awesome place every now and then, and see what’s new with food and some other local delicacies.  I usually go there at around six in the evening and most of the time with my sister just to have our dinner or go for some food trip.

Every time I paid visit to this place I make sure to  grab some of my favorite flavored Ensaymada.  Gone are the days when you eat plain stuff huh. :) Everything seems to be special now a days and that includes ensaymada or spelled as “ensaimada” in Spanish. Philippine ensaimada is a popular baon for many Filipino kids and most pastry makers in our country have different version of the said bread.  Aside from the basic  flour, pork lard, water, sugar, eggs, yeast and butter, most stores offers different variations to fully satisfy our eyes and taste buds. My favorite so far are Yema Ensaymada, Chocolate Ensaymada and Bavarian Ensaymada.
